Edvard Munch is Norway's most famous visual artist. He was a painter, graphic artist and an early representative of Expressionism. Munch made his debut in 1883 and produced large quantities throughout his life, around 28,000 works exist by Munch and he is therefore probably one of the world's most productive visual artists.
